I created an account for my daughter and tried to install it. At this point it demanded that I create an account for me and pay 10p to check that I was an adult. Ok, I guess. But then it absolutely would not let me pay the 10p to conform the account without buying another copy of minecraft. I obviously strayed in some minor way in the install and it went down a path it can't get out of. The minecraft support people took 4 days to get back to me and had obviously not even read my email.
They asked for information I had already sent them in the original message. I now cannot log into the accounts on the machine I want to install to a iMac as every time I try to log in it skips the login pace. I've cleared the cache and nothing. This was something I thought would take 2 mins.
More fool me. I've spent hours on this and guess what.. There is no apparent refund path. Very frustrated and with a 7 year old that's been in tears over this more than once. Bought download code for my little girl to play on Minecraft. Amazon end are fine but the problems started with Microsoft and trying to download and install the game. It recognises I have the code and game but the page will not load to enable you to install the game so a total waste of money.
Well this is a review for the code rather than the game it should have given access to. On that basis it is zero stars. I took a risk by ignoring the high level of negative reviews and I was wrong to have done so. The code was rejected on entering the first character. Refunded by Amazon without quibble as always but a pain overall. Minecraft is positively one of the best games I've ever played, and I've enjoyed it from my childhood all the way through to adulthood.
The possibilities are endless, and even if you've played the vanilla game to completion there's a huge community behind it that have created countless fantastic mods and multiplayer servers which extend your game time more or less forever. I would recommend buying the official game codes like this one instead of the cheap accounts you see on Ebay as those ones are actually accounts that have been stolen from other people and resold which explains their confusingly low price.

When I bought this item I already had the Bedrock version, so when I saw that I could get the Java edition, I immediately knew that I had wasted my money Please someone help.
It's minecaft. Minecraft is a great little game with massive potential. Have loved playing the console version. Method 1: Try resetting the Store and see if that helps. This will open Run. Note: A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.
Method 2: Run the Store App troubleshooter to identify and fix problems. On the right hand pane scroll down and look for Windows Store Apps. Click on it and select Run the troubleshooter.
